Fuel economy ratings of the 2012 Hyundai Accent is much higher compare to previous models. Although the 2012 Accent's 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is the same size as the 2011 model, the performance power is much more powerful. The new 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine produces 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque!
Features such as Bluetooth, USB connectivity and satellite radio are now available on the 2012 Hyundai Accent. Those features were not available on the 2011 model. The 2012 Hyundai Accent is available in two body styles: a sedan and a five-door hatchback.

Standard interior features on the base GLS sedan include power door locks, four speakers and a tilt steering whe ni ssan GTR specification el. Also available is a premium package that comes with remote keyless entry, steering wheel-mounted controls, cruise control, Bluetooth, a sunglasses holder and a sliding armrest storage box. The premium package is only available if you get the automatic transmission.
The five-door hatchback comes in the GS trim and includes the standard and optional features available on the GLS sedan.
Standard safety features of the new 2012 Hyundai Accent include six air bags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution, vehicle stability management and brake assist. Other available safety features include a tire pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control, which are now required by law.
