Ashley C. Williams is an American actress, singer, dancer, and producer most famous for her starring role as "Lindsay" chrysler in the internationally acclaimed horror film, The Human Centipede (First Sequence). Written and directed by Tom Six, The Human Centipede depicts the story of a mad scientist who kidnaps and mutilates a trio of tourists in order to reassemble them into a new organism. Williams' earnest and authentic performance in the daring role has won her the respect and devotion of an avid worldwide fanbase, making her highly in demand for personal appearances and interviews in addition to new projects.
A classically trained actress, Ashley C. Williams has an extensive background in theater and musical theater and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City where she received the Charles Jehlenger Award for Excellence in Acting. Ashley's theatre credits include leads "Juliet" in Romeo and Juliet, "Anne Frank" in The Diary of Anne Frank, "Loga" in Bong Bong Bong against the Wall, Ting Ting Ting in our Heads, and "Herianne" in Spellbound - A Musical Adventure.
Williams is also co-founder and Vice-President of Mind The Art Entertainment, a NYC based arts and entertainment company where she has produced and starred in new work of varying art forms to include plays and musicals in venues such as The New York International Fringe Festival, La MaMa Experimental Theater Club, and the Cherry Lane Theaters, as well as the off Broadway production of a new play called Triangle wherein she had a leading role.
In addition to her theatre projects, Ashley has been recently filming on the feature Leaving Circadia, and is in pre-production on the upcoming werewolf film Hallow Pointe and the comedy A Guy Named Rick. Ashley is also set to film on Stagnant, a horror comedy that will shoot in the fall. Coming soon to DVD is the feature film Empty for which she stars with Jon Carlo, which will release in July.
